Xenical Diet Pill

Xenical Diet PillXenical is a weight loss drug produced by the Swiss health-care company, Roche. This drug is composed of a compound commonly known as Orlistat or, scientifically speaking, tetrahydrolipstatin.

How does it work?

Xenical diet pill restricts the production and excretion of pancreatic lipase, thereby inhibiting the breakdown and absorption of fat in the body.

The Side Effects

Although this may initially sound like a wonder drug, a product capable of simply preventing the body from absorbing the fats in the food you eat, the cliché remains true that good things don't come easy. Xenical slimming pills have major side effects as a result of the way in which it works, preventing the body from absorbing fat-soluble vitamins due to the lack of fat in the body. These vitamins include Vitamin D, Vitamin E, and Vitamin A, all of which are very important to the healthy functioning of a human body.

Although the producers of Xenical weight loss pill argue that users can simply take a multi-vitamin prior to your dosage of their drug, the fact remains that your body still will not absorb the normal amount of these vitamins. Another side effect of this drug is the excretion of an unnatural amount of fat, due to the fact that none of it is absorbed in the body. This increased fat excretion often leads to 'oily or loose feces' which we all know actually means diarrhea as well as 'increased flatulence', a polished way of saying that you will fart a lot.

Though these side affects of the drug can be avoided by eating less fatty foods, this basically defeats the purpose of this drug whose main benefit is the fact that it allows you to eat all the fat you want without absorbing it into your body. This basically leaves you with two options:

1) take this drug but don't eat fatty foods, or better known as a diet - something you could just as easily do without this drug and without the side effects

2) take the drug and eat all the fatty foods you want but have serious 'gastrointestinal issues'.

If that's not enough to discredit this drug then what do you say to claims linking orlistat to an increased risk of breast cancer? Although these claims may not have yet been 'clinically proven' who honestly goes around making things like that up? A study is also currently under way to further scrutinize a connection that has been shown between orlistat and aberrant crypt foci, also known as ACF, one of the first signs of colon cancer.

In summary, upon the further scrutiny of the 'wonder drug' Xenical, prospective users will find that the use of this drug will either lead to excessive farting and diarrhea and even potentially cancer of the breast or colon. This does not seem like the type of drug that anyone looking for a healthy way of losing weight should consider and if this seems like the only option I advise you to look further as there may just be that magical weight loss drug out there, this just isn't it.
